This technical webinar will give an overview of complementarity between Sage Science BluePippin and PippinHT size-selection systems and Diagenode Megaruptor 3 shearing instrument to get the tightest possible size distribution of input DNA. This combination results in the highest quality libraries for long-read sequencing applications, which require a relatively tight size distribution, a sharp low-molecular-weight size cutoff, and a careful coordination of Megaruptor shearing and Sage size-selection conditions. Guidelines will be presented for optimizing DNA for long-range NGS.
